Ride with Larry: An Afternoon of Film, Inspiration, and Awareness
In honor of Parkinson’s Awareness month, two chances to see the critically acclaimed film Ride with Larry at La Paloma Theater in Encinitas. Made by local filmmakers.
Make it an evening by staying for our panels and event at D-Street Bar & Grill. After the first screening, the filmmakers will host a Q & A. After the second screening, a panel featuring Scripps Hospital’s stem cell research team, the San Diego Chapter: Americans for Safe Access medical marijuana lobby, and the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego will discuss these issues as they relate to San Diego. Moderated by Scott Lewis from Voice of San Diego.
When you're not watching Ride with Larry or attending the panels, celebrate at D-Street Bar & Grill, next-door to the theater, with live music by special guest Todd Hannigan, try the bike used in the film, make friends, and meet the special guests. You do not need tickets to join the D-Street celebration. All ticket holders from either screening are welcome to attend the panel discussion. And...enter our raffle to win one of three GoPro cameras.
Proceeds to benefit the Parkinson's Association, San Diego Chapter: Americans for Safe Access, and Scripps Hospital's Summit4StemCell research project.
