San Diego Surf Ladies and Island Restaurants present the second annual festival dedicated to providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers featuring women on and around waves. Ashley Lloyd Thompson, Santa Cruz-based surfer, shaper and musician, will host and perform with her band, The Shapes. A portion of the evening’s revenue will be donated to Outdoor Outreach, a non-profit whose mission is to empower at-risk youth through outdoor programming with a focus on surfing.
