Win Tickets to The Doobie Brothers
The propulsive roots-based, harmony laden, guitar
driven style of The Doobie Brothers has sold an estimated 40 million
records over the course of four decades. Their indelible contributions
to the American songbook, from "Listen To The Music" and "China Grove"
to "Black Water" and "Long Train Runnin'", remain as beloved and
relevant as ever. Original members Pat Simmons and Tom Johnston, and
30-year member John McFee marked a new chapter with the delivery of a
potent album, World Gone Crazy. It was their first new album in a
decade, and it produced the Top 20 track "Far From Home" and the Top 5
GAC Video "World Gone Crazy." The Doobie Brothers will be making their
14th summertime appearance at Humphreys. With special guest, San
Diego's favorite acoustic duo, Berkley Hart. The combination of
Kerrville New Folk Songwriter Award winner, Jeff Berkley, and stand-out
wordsmith, Calman Hart, create a pairing that has become one of the
premier acoustic duos touring the country.
