I got a kick out of the half-assed way he "promoted" a local appearance by one of the two groups claiming to be the Sugarhill Gang, who are credited for one of the earliest hip-hop hits "Rapper's Delight" - his ads and flyers read "The Originnal Sugarhill Gang," misspelling "Original." I think to qualify as an actual "promoter," the most basic requirement should be an ability to spell the name of the act you're promoting...
