Background:
The Whole Shebang was formed in late 2009 to support songs that Bryan Bangerter had written for a full ensemble. Their sound draws on rock, reggae, jazz, R&B, and folk.
Their 2010 CD Bryan Bangerter and the Whole Shebang incorporates child-like gang vocals, strings, horn sections, melodica, harpsichord, and more. Lyrics include stories of 17th century prostitutes, the unstoppable force of rebel brides on their wedding day, and the daily encounters of a working class.
