Synoposis

Inception: La Mesa, 2007

Background:

Although it boasts an array of talents with long, varied resumes, the Turtle Project doesn't limit itself. Since late 2007, they've been collaborating in a wide array of genres, to produce a blend of jazz, folk, and rock storytelling.

As of mid-2009, the Turtle Project is now a duo; Jason Yamaoka (guitars, vocals, percussion) and Jim Krooskos (bass, percussion). They spent the summer opening shows for the original winner of The Last Comic Standing, Dat Phan.
