Background:
Formed in 2008, the Surrender is fronted by singer-songwriter Collin Elliott. After spending several years in the Los Angeles music scene, Elliott enlisted friends Neil Parek, Mike Balboa, and Shawn Dailey, returning to his San Diego hometown to launch the Surrender.
The band released its debut EP, Di Amor, in 2009, followed by a performance at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.
