Synoposis

Inception: San Diego, 2006

Background:

Hip-hop group the Supa Unknown includes Defcon 5, Doug Masters, DJ Adamnt of the West Indies, and DJ Shag of Joint Response. “We make songs about some of our favorite movies and TV shows,” says DJ Adamnt, “with DJ Shag extracting sounds from the films and TV shows and constructing beats out of them.”

Their album Entertainment was released in 2009, and their song “Connected” appears on the compilation album From the Depths. Members are based in Kensington, Oceanside, and Murrieta.
