Background:

Singer Jesse Tolppa and guitarist Steve Marold - both from Rhode Island - had already been playing together for years wshen they met bassist Adam Garner during their careers in the Marine Corps and formed Stealing Gadsby. Garner swapped his bass for guitar and the trio was completed by two Californians, drummer Bryan Bansbach and bassist Chris Hawks.

The band’s initial songs were recorded at First Cut Demos in Vista.
