Background:

The Sophisticados are a duo who perform acoustic jazz, as well as Latin, Flamenco, Brazilian, adult contemporary, and smooth jazz favorites.

Fernando DaRosa (guitar, bass, vocals) was born in Brazil, moving to USA when he was fourteen. Ted Kassiotis (guitar, synth, vocals) was born in Boston, moving to San Diego in the 1990s. His father played in several pop and swing jazz bands, contributing to his diverse taste in music.
