Inception: San Diego, 1995

Background:

Scratch was an all-original hard rock band founded in 1995 by Jack Kaye (guitar, vocals), Chris Bonner (drums), and Alan Thwaites (bass, keys). They frequently played local venues like the Spirit Club in Morena Park (later known as Brick By Brick) and released one album, Baked from Scratch.

Not to be confused with the later same-named acoustic covers trio featuring Simeon Flick, Mike Strawbridge, and Eric Oberschmidt.
