Ron Silva and the Monarchs also included Nick Rossi, formerly of Loved Ones. “First established in the early 1990s, this band is a monster,” says critic Bart Mendoza. “If you like your R&B, gritty, sixties styled and incredibly danceable, this is the band for you!”

The group reunited in February, 2010, for a performance at San Diego’s Tower Bar.
