Inception: San Diego, 2010
Background:
Range Rover were a trio of teenagers when they founded a band in 2010. They make pop music with any instruments and equipment that they can get our hands on, collaging their sound with everything from guitar loops and 8-track recordings to synthesizers and iPod apps. The end result blends elements of psychedelia, indie rock, electronica, and pop, with a lo-fi construction to create melodic, heavily layered pop tunes.
Their debut album Mind was released in early 2011.
