Background:

Rebeca and David Randle are an acoustic duo that formed in 2002. Guitarist David Randle is a Chula Vista native whose '60s psychedelic band the Brain Police have become one of the most popular cult garage bands from that era. He operated a local music shop from the late '70s through around 1990. In 2001, he met Hawaiian native Rebeca Conley, a one-time A&M Records session singer.

In 2008, the Randles released a CD called R&D. That summer, they moved from San Diego to Portland, Oregon.
