Background:
Psydecar is an upbeat dance band with a solid rhythm section but loose enough to leave plenty of room for improvisation. Founded by singer Tim Pacheco (Sol Power, Wise Monkey Orchestra, P.O.D.), the multi-influenced players cover everything from reggae to latin to funk, with a horn section that frequently drives the festivities into a jazzy zone.
As of 2010, Pacheco also fronts the Southtown Generals, with Wuv and Marcos Curiel from P.O.D.
