History
Play B. is a local hip-hop artist on a mission. In 2008, he joined forces with Young Mass and Kayo to unite the local hip-hop scene. This trio has set out to show what San Diego hip-hop sounds like. “Our mission is to start with local releases and compilations,” says Play B. of the trio’s recording aspirations. “We know it is possible to thrive without having music videos, Billboard hits, or major-label support.”
