Synoposis

Inception: San Diego, 2008

Background:

The jazz trio Nova Modern was assembled in 2008 by guitarist Bob Bozonelos and saxophonist Waylon Hicks, who’d been friends and colleagues since 2005. They were later joined by drummer Shawn Valcarcel.

Due to being bass-less, guitarist Bozonelos invested in a custom eight-string bass, in order to also play the bass lines.
