Background:
This reggae hip-hop rock band, with members based in Oceanside and Chico, is also the permanent backing band for U.K. reggae legend Pato Banton. In 2005, the band was signed to Cornerstone R.A.S. Records, a label that also includes acts like Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Fishbone, and Public Enemy.
In October 2010, the band released their album Cali-Hi.
They’ll tour Asia in June and July to play for U.S. troops, with members of opening act Top Shelf also sitting in during the Mystic Roots sets. A new album called Campfire is planned for a summer release.
