Background:
MoonDance plays 1960s through 1980s R&B, soul, blues, and classic rock. Band leader James Pena is Native American (Santa Ysabel band of DiegueƱo Indians). Guitarist Bodo Zacharek was born in Germany and grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Bassist Tisa Bell is from Tennessee, while keyboardist Mike McGinty is a longtime Californian. The band has played around town at Pal Joey's, Casino Pauma, and Santa Ysabel Resort and Casino.
