Background:
Falsetto tenor Mike Cook first came to prominence as a member of the gospel group the Mighty Clouds of Joy, who were nominated for four Grammys and won one for the song "Pray for Me," which Cook wrote and sang lead on. He was inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame in 1999.
