Background:
Based in Bonita and Chula Vista and made up of international talent from Canada to Mexico, Latin jazz band Luna Azul released their debut CD Chocolate in 2006, on the Cool Records label. Female trumpet player-vocalist-percussionist Nina de la Vega, from Alberta, Canada, sings in several languages, while drummer-singer Eduardo “Lalo” de la Vega is also the band director.
The band plays play jazz, samba, bossa nova, Latin, pop, rock, and classical selections.
