Synoposis

Background:

Composer and conductor Lorin Getline was still attending a San Diego middle school when he began taking tuba lessons. Later attending Point Loma High School and SDSU, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in performing, he went on to perform with local ensembles like Westwind Brass and the San Diego Symphony.

Since the mid-1980s, Getline has been booking musicians to perform in musicals around San Diego at various stage venues, including the Old Globe Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse.
