Background:
The artists of Kindle to Ember are from the San Diego area, and have many years of roots reggae knowledge. Band members have also been a part of projects such as the Providers, Vegitation, Bredren, and Lights of Zion. They have come together, forming Kindle to Ember, bringing true roots music, fulfilling people who yearn for a heavy, original sound. In times when war is evident, and world problems seem to get worse, the lyrical significance of Kindle to Ember rises through. The words promote unity, condemn war, acknowledge governmental disruption, and call for the decriminalization of the herb. Also, they contain messages of positive thinking, conscious living, and the love of Jah in one's life.
