Synoposis

Inception: San Diego, 1990

Background:

Founded by violinist Chris Vitas and guitarist Fred Benedetti, Keltik Kharma started as a duo known as the MIDI Bros., performing a variety of styles of music including Celtic with MIDI instruments. Eventually, Chris & Fred went back to their acoustic violin & guitar roots, playing traditional Celtic music with a twist. Later Keltik Kharma incorporated Celtic airs and fiddle tunes into the repertoire, calling it Green Jazz.

Recent Keltik Kharma albums feature ambient new age tunes, including a new full-length released June 30, 2013.
