Background:
Jon Swift was born in New York, raised in San Diego, and as of 2010 is back in San Diego via Los Angeles, Berkeley, Big Sur and Hawaii.
The first of his three self-produced albums is an intimate set of home recordings called 15 Songs by Jon Swift (2001). The second album Coming & Going (2003) was recorded in studios across Ventura County. Pathway (2008) was created and recorded mostly in Swift's home studio in Hawaii, while his 2009 release The Drifter Sessions is an EP of songs recorded for the movie The Drifter.
