Background:

Longtime Californian Joe Palen was in his late forties when he recorded his first album, Subject to Change, in 2008. The former linebacker for the USC Trojans (“Fight on!”) at one point considered naming his debut It’s Never Too Late, as that’s one of the messages he hopes to spread as he tours the world with his music.
