Synoposis

Background:

Ilana Mysior played piano as an accompanist with the San Diego Opera since shortly after its inception in the 1960s. Beginning in 1966, she spent over 25 years as a music professor at the University of San Diego, as well as playing with the San Diego Symphony, the ERA Trio, the Gennaro Trio, and the Alcala Trio.

In April 2010, she passed away at the age of 71, from complications related to Marfan syndrome.
