Background:
The Regal brothers were born in a shotgun shack in the hills of Tennessee to a family of coal miners and moonshiners. Travis was struck by lightning at the age of nine and was instantly ordained as a preacher. His younger twin brothers Clevis and Wyatt took to the family business and became master shiners by age twelve. Folks say Ma Regal only fed them if they picked bluegrass. The boys would ramble around, picking at every corn still in the county and folks naturally called them Hilltop Ramblers.
