Background:

Fearless in Fairweather was formed in 2009 by Manganista members Matt Rhea (vocals, percussion), Ryan McMullen (guitar), and Travis Wingo (vocals, keyboards), along with sax player John Roy (Self Made Men and Unsteady), drummer Roy Belarmino (Devoid, Magdalene, Holy Love Snakes), and bassist Justin “Super-K” Kay (the Sexicans, Jungela).

The band’s live debut was at the end of June, 2009, at Pete’s Place in La Mesa. Singer/percussionist Matt Rhea also runs a La Mesa-based record label called Quasi Recordings.
