Background:

Before 2007, Eclipse79 bandmates Jeremy Stein (drums) and Michael Fortuna (vocals, guitar) fronted Gish, a Smashing Pumpkins tribute band. With singer-bassist Carl Mulheim, they became Eclipse79 and - in 2008 - they recorded an original 3-song demo at Exum studio in Escondido.

Their debut album Pompeii was released in January, 2010.
