Synoposis

Inception: San Diego, 2002

Background:

Percussive beat crew Dirty Drums was founded by former breakdancer Michael Raymond Russell, aka MRR, and Ian De Cerbo. The group also includes Ricky “RSI” Isabella. Their limited-edition ten-inch MRR-ADM (Stones Throw Records) includes British drummer Malcolm Catto.

The members have also been in groups like MHE (which included DJ Willow, later known as the Gaslamp Killer), Boxfeedrs, and Hezus, as well as working with former local Gonjasufi.
