Background:
Cerro Negro is a flamenco trio formerly based in Fresno. They've resided in San Diego since 2003.
The trio includes guitarist Dusty Brough, an accomplished player. Rhythm guitarist Frank Giordano plays both Flamenco guitar and piano, switching up the group’s instrumentation throughout the performance. Percussionist/lead vocalist John Martin III has two Bachelors degrees in music and performs on his custom percussion setup which includes instruments from around the world.
