Lead by frontperson, Vee Alvarez, blues rock band Call & Complain was founded in Madison, WI before relocating to San Diego and settling in Paradise Hills. "This duo is a feminist musical project with a lot to complain about," says the band,"voicing concerns through foot stomping blues riffs and glass raising lyrics, C&C hopes to bring awareness to current issues while taking the world by storm."

A debut single was released on October 2020, "S.L.V.T." "This song is for every womxn, every person, who has ever been called a slut," says Alvarez, "You kept your chins up, your shoulders back, and you didn’t miss a beat. This song is for all of us. And it’s time to take back the power.”
