Background:

The Cabrillo Singers is a select group of musicians that sings at various venues across San Diego. The group is directed by Dr. Myron Tweed, formerly of the Tweed Family, a renowned gospel group whose career dates back to the late '60s. He's been Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church since 1979.

Heather Tweed Hargett sings as the soprano section leader and is assistant director of the Cabrillo Singers. She's also the music director at Mount Miguel High School, where she teaches concert choir, show choir, gospel choir, guitar and piano. In addition, she sings in the San Diego Opera Chorus.
