Background:
Members of the classic/country rock band Barbwire have played around the globe, from country jamborees in Virginia, to lesbian dive bars in Sydney Australia, to the Del Norte County Fair, to west Texas honky tonks, and back again.
Singer/guitarist James Holland released a solo project on Comstock Records in 2009, with several singles making the global country music charts, including “History of a Heartbreak” (number 14 in Belgium), “Sweet Lies” (number 22 in Austria), “Guitars, Good Friends, and a Fifth of Tequila” (number 13 in Poland), and “To Love You” (number 26 in Spain).
