Slightly Stoopid play Germany’s Summerjam Festival before restarting a U.S. tour on July 11

Slightly Stoopid’s video for “One More Night” collects vintage footage of the band over the last 20-plus years, from early days with Bradley Nowell (Sublime) through tours with Snoop Dogg, Bob Weir, Sly and Robbie, Half Pint, and locals Karl Denson and Pepper. Currently on the road with Matisyahu, Tribal Seeds, and HIRIE, they’ll play Germany’s Summerjam Festival before restarting a U.S. tour on July 11 in Bonner, Montana which runs through August.

Blink-182 played an unannounced show on June 20 at USC’s Galen Center in L.A., debuting their first new music in three years, “Blame It On My Youth” and “Generational Divide,” in advance of their upcoming tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Enema of the State. “Blame It On My Youth” was produced by Tim Pagnotta with a lyric video created by graffiti artist RISK, and a third new single debuted last week for "Happy Days." A tour with Lil Wayne kicked off June 27 in Columbus, OH, hitting North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 7. Vocalist/bassist Mark Hoppus also recently launched a band with All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth, Simple Creatures, releasing their debut EP in March.

Doom-drone rockers INUS have signed to local label Three One G (co-founded by the Locust’s Justin Pearson), which will release their Western Spaghettification album, as well as a single for “Kajillions and Bazillions.” A video is streaming online for "Time is a Person," described by Three One G as “a proctologist’s-eye-view through the fourth dimension wherein archetypal heroes, tyrants, and everyday NPCs gurgle into existence periodically to play out their parts.”

Switchfoot’s 26-city Fantastic Traveling Music Show tour kicks off October 3 in Des Moines, Iowa, featuring two sets back-to-back, the first a stripped-down acoustic set with never before heard stories woven throughout followed by a full-blown rock show to end the night.

Former Chicago bassist Jason Scheff will tour with It Was Fifty Years Ago Today: A Tribute to the Beatles' White Album, alongside Badfinger’s Joey Molland, Christopher Cross, Todd Rundgren, and Micky Dolenz, kicking off September 21 in Atlantic City.

Carnifex’s seventh studio album World War X, due August 2, is preceded by a single for “No Light Shall Save Us” featuring Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), with a music video shot in Death Valley directed by Scott Hansen (Deicide, Prong). Another video is streaming online for the title track, directed by frontman Scott Ian Lewis. They’ll support on the Summer Slaughter tour with the Faceless, Rivers of Nihil, Nekrogoblikon, Brand of Sacrifice, and locals Cattle Decapitation.

J.D. Boucharde’s musical alter ego, Papa Hoodlum & the Hard Truth, has a new single, “Femina,” a duet with singer-songwriter Jill Nooren (AfterShock Seven) also shot as a music video co-directed by local artist/photographer Kristy Walker with Carlos Sanchez and starring Alyssa Latson.

Latin crooner Frankie J is featured on Carlos Santana’s new hit album Africa Speaks, on the track “We’re Still Here Together.”
