Gilbert Castellanos has two gigs at Panama 66 (1450 El Prado) beginning at 6 p.m. when he hosts the Young Lions Series on the patio. Fusion pioneer Stanley Clarke plays the Music Box (1337 India Street), leading a band featuring Beka Gochiashvilli, Cameran Graces, and Mike Mitchell at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $30 to $55. You must be 18 or older to enter.

Joshua White leads a trio with Duncan Moore and Dave Robaire at the Westgate Hotel Plaza Bar (1055 Second Avenue) from 8 to 11 p.m. $20 food/drink minimum… Lower Left with Barry Farrar, Justin Grinnell, and Mikan Zlatkovich play Bouree Southern Bistro (6523 University Avenue) from 7 to 9 p.m. No cover… The Matt Smith Neu Jazz Trio are having a CD-Release party at 3rd Space (4610 Park Boulevard) with a reception at 7 p.m. befrore the 8 p.m. concert $10 admission or $20 gets you in plus a CD… Natural Sounds Trio with Jake Najor, Christian Schinelli, Harold Todd and Andy Geib have a CD-Release party at Seven Grand (3054 University Avenue) from 9:30 to midnight.
