Matt Potter’s September 5, 2020 post on Los Angeles Jackie Lacey ("Dumanis, spouse, and San Diego cop union back L.A. District Attorney Jackie Lacey," Sept. 5) was a cheap sophomoric political hit piece. When admitting Lacey had garnered support from San Diego Police, San Diego Deputy DA Assn and the San Diego DA, Potter tried to shade the truth by referring to a photo of Dumanis with another woman, Potter referred to her as “spouse”.

Potter supports a RADICAL LEFTIST DA candidate George Gascon who refuses to prosecute drug dealers in the homeless community, looters, and believes in arrest and release without demanding bail. This places serious criminals charged with felonies back on the street the same day police arrest them. Gascon has ruined San Francisco during his time there as DA. He and his fellow anarchists who receive donations from the infamous George Soros PACS want to eliminate police and destroy our judicial system. Have courage, Reader, and publish my comments.
