05:35 Boating: VHF 16 call of disabled sloop off tip of south channel jetty. Captain with shoulder injury (previous). Lifeguard rescue vessel responds and tows sloop back to reception dock.

14:50 Enforcement: Lifeguard responds to Sunset Cliffs for 40+ cliff jumpers. San Diego Police on scene as well and jumpers clear with enforcement presence and warnings.

15:13 Boating: Lifeguards vessels respond to Coast Guard report of a disabled vessel off tip of Point Loma. Lifeguard rescue vessel tows disabled boat until Sea Tow takes over.

13:31 Other: Submerged automobile at Ski Beach. lifeguards respond. Star towing on scene with a private tow.

14:35 Medical: Scooter accident, 3141 Ocean Front Walk. 83 year-old female. Lifeguards, medics and San Diego Police respond. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

15:40 Medical: Cardiac arrest, 40 year-old male, Missouri Street/Mission Blvd. Lifeguards, emergency and medics respond. Lifeguards clear and medics handle with unknown outcome.

15:57 Other: Missing child at Torrey Pines State Beach, Tower 2. San Diego and State lifeguards respond. Child reunited with family.

09:12 Medical: 70 year-old female, fall/back injury at the Bahia Hotel Marina. Lifeguards, fire, and medics respond. Fall was in hotel fire handling.

13:03 Boating: Disabled vessel outside the surf line North of Point Loma/Sewage treatment plant. 21’ with 2 persons on board. Lifeguard rescue vessels and JetSki unit respond. Lifeguard rescue vessel provides charged tow back to Mission Bay.

14:42 Boating: 2 PWC’s collide at West Fiesta Island. Lifeguards, fire, and medics respond. Reporting person states that both operators got back on the skis and drove away. Lifeguard contacts PWC’s at De Anza Boat ramp. One operator complains of back pain. Medics transport one patient to Scripps La Jolla.

10:00 Medical: lifeguard requests medics for a 30 year-old male, overdose in the parking lot north of Ocean Beach tower. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

16:05 Boating: PWC assisting another PWC with a person in the water off West Ski Island. Lifeguard rescue vessel responds and requests Mission Bay Sailing Center to send a chase boat, they do and take over tow.

13:47 Other: Possible disturbance at Mariners Basin. Lifeguard vessel responds. All parties left area, unfounded.

14:36 Medical: 29 year-old male; dog bite at Voltaire parking lot. Lifeguard, fire, and medics respond. Patient advised and released, no animal control needed.

16:23 Medical: 11 year-old male with head injury at Wipeout Beach. Patient slipped and fell on the rocks. Lifeguards, fire, and medics respond. Patient advised and released.

15:05 Enforcement: Person setting fires on Blacks Beach. suspect showing erratic behavior and not adhering to warnings by lifeguards, UCSD Police take person into custody.

16:30 Medical: Medical distress call report for a 21 year-old female with a leg laceration at Loring St. Fire on scene, clears lifeguards.

17:55 Other: VHF call reporting a large fuel spill at Marina Village. Lifeguards investigate, large sheen approximately 10,000 square feet between A & B dock. Coast Guard advised of findings and said they will not be responding, spill should dissipate on its own
