16:42 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units, along with SDPD units, respond to Newport Ave. at Abbot St. for assault. SDPD calls for stand-back and clears for fire to handle.

17:15 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to fall at foot of Liverpool. Medical advises patient.

09:47 Medical: dislocated shoulder at Blacks Beach, patient is a 23 year-old male. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

10:19 Medical Shortness of breath at 1950 Abbott St. 65 year-old male Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond. Medical transports patient to Scripps Mercy.

12:02 Boating: Boat fire on 57 ft. cabin cruiser Footloose, reporting black smoke on board below deck via US Coast Guard. Lifeguard boat and air units respond. Good Samaritan boat Salty Dreams and lifeguard rescue boat take passengers aboard from Footloose. When fire is extinguished, lifeguard rescue boat hooks and tows cruiser to San Diego Bay where tow turned over to vessel assist.

14:28 Medical: 45 year-old male with breathing issue at 3855 Oceanfront way. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond. Lifeguards cancelled, fire to handle.

16:47 Kayak adrift north side of South Jetty in the channel. Lifeguard Jet and Boat units respond. Lifeguard boat puts kayak under tow. Kayak broke of off a 35 ft. Yawl heading for San Diego Bay. Lifeguard takes pictures. Coast Guard notified. Owner comes back to pick up kayak.

16:55 Medical: 28 year-old male stomach flu. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond. Patient transported to UCSD Hillcrest.

10:00 Swimmer: Lifeguard requests SD Fire Department copter for a missing person search from Bird Rock to Santa Cruz and up to 1mile out. Unable to locate missing person.

12:08 Medical: Ocean Beach lifeguards request medics for a 29 year-old male complaining of general weakness. Lifeguards, fire and medics respond. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

12:19 Boating: 911 call of a vessel in distress off Ocean Beach. Lifeguard boat unit responds and states the skipper doesn't need help and is learning to sail. Clear.

13:22 Medical: Pacific Beach requests medics for a 56 year-old male with hemorrhage at Crystal Pier. Lifeguards, emergency and medics respond. Fire on scene, lifeguards clear.

21:29 Cliff: 2 people stuck on Box canyon trail not injured. Lifeguard, fire, medics, and air unit respond. 2 victims walk out with fire personnel up Box Canyon

10:00 Swimmer: Request for Air unit to search for missing person in water that fell from Crystal Pier on 1/21/18. Air and boat units on scene. Nothing found.

14:16 Medical: 79 year-old male with cardiac emergency at OB Pier. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units on scene. CPR in progress, AED deployed but no shock given. Patient transported to UCSD.

15:35 Medical: 79 year-old female fall on the beach at Tourmaline. Lifeguards, medical on scene. Patient transported to Zion.

17:30 Other: 3 people stuck in Cave Store stairwell, no injuries. Lifeguards on scene. Access made and all people released.

12:30 Swimmer: Lifeguards respond to 911 call for cliff jumper at Sunset Cliffs. Jumper found on shore, uninjured.

10:15 Other: Lifeguards respond to Point Loma Tide Pool area for 50 gallon drum in the ocean. "Tube" is anchored, unable to retrieve.

12:37 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to Ocean Beach Pier for 16 year-old male with difficulty breathing. No aid.

17:25 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to man down, fall on rocks. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

05:05 Other: US Coast Guard helicopter reports a white floating object a quarter mile south of Crystal Pier. Lifeguards respond and locate a dive light in the surf off Thomas St. Apparently light was lost off Crystal Pier during the previous night's search.

07:10 Diving: Dive recovery Incident Command established.

12:39 Medical: Lifeguard requests medics to evaluate a 29 year old female suffering from withdrawal. Fire and medics respond and transport patient to UCSD.
