09:33 - Enforcement: Transient male acting erratic at Tourmaline parking lot. Lifeguard and SDPD respond. Suspect questioned and released by SDPD.

10:56 - Boating: Vessel taking on water 1 mile off of Mission Bay. 25 ft. center console with 2 persons on board. Lifeguard boat units, Coast Guard helicopter and boat units respond. Vessel has a controlled leak and is underway at 25 knots. Lifeguard escorts vessel to Dana Landing.

13:17 - Enforcement: 30 year-old male threats of violence. Lifeguards on scene. Suspect taken to County Mental Health by SDPD.

13:56 - Medical: Stingray at Black's Beach. Lifeguard responds, treat & release.

13:36 - Boating: PWC in distress at Osprey. Lifeguards respond. Lifeguard boat unit takes PWC under tow. Lifeguard pumps PWC out with slave pump. PWC taken out of water at Dana Landing.

13:46 - Enforcement: Vessel accident. Catamaran stuck on sandbar. Lifeguard boat to handle.

14:05 - Boating: Aluminum skiff near the surf at Ladera St. Lifeguard boat and Jet Ski units respond. Tow Boat US on scene and handling.

14:03 - Boating: Vessel without steering at Ski Beach. Lifeguard boat units respond. 19 foot powerboat with 8 persons on board. Lifeguard boat unit tows vessel to Dana Landing.

15:49 - Medical: Possible overdose at foot of Voltaire. Emergency, medical and lifeguards respond. Medical transports patient to UCSD.

15:32 - Medical: 35 year-old male with seizures at 457 Coast Blvd. lifeguards, emergency and medical respond. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

15:20 - Cliff: 22 year-old male stuck on the cliff at Black's Beach. Multiple lifeguard units respond. Patient rescued and clear at the top off cliff.

Sept 23

01:15 - Other: Ringing Alarm at 850 Coast Blvd, Casa Lifeguard Station. Emergency and lifeguards on scene. Area checks clear. Alarm reset.

09:46 - Boating: Sinking vessel at Ventura Bridge, 21 foot center console. Lifeguard boat units on scene. Pump out and tow to Dana Launch Ramp.

10:04 - Diving: Missing diver at La Jolla Shores. Multiple lifeguards including boat and helicopter units on scene. Missing person found 1,000 yards off the beach.

11:33 - Medical: 35 year-old female, assault victim at Brighton St. bathroom. Lifeguards and emergency units on scene. Patient released, advised to seek further medical attention.

12:06 - Boating: Sunken boat at South Shores Ramp. Lifeguard boat units on scene.

13:04 - Medical: Stingray injury at Verona Ct. Lifeguard on scene and transports to Pacific Beach station for treatment.

14:13 - Medical: Dislocated shoulder at Thomas St. Lifeguard, emergency and medical on scene. Patient transported to Scripps La Jolla.

15:15 - Medical: Post seizures at Ventura Cove. Lifeguards, emergency and medical on scene. Patient transported to Alvarado.

15:22 - Boating/Enforcement: Boat near the rocks, center console with 5 persons on board at South Garbage. Vessel possibly has illegal aliens on board. Lifeguard boat and Jet Ski units, SDPD, Border Patrol and Sheriffs on scene. Vessel searched, nothing found. Vessel towed to Dana and released.

Sept 22

Harbor Patrol investigated a vessel collision that occurred at the Harbor Police guest slips when one vessel was attempting to back out of a slip in strong winds. Due to the impact of the vessels there was approx. $3,000 in damages.

07:22 - Swimming: Person being pulled from water at Scripps Beach. Lifeguards, emergency and medical units responding. CPR in progress. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

16:00 - Medical: Stingray at Black's Beach. U36 responds. 30 year-old male treat & release.

20:05 - Other: Motorhome on fire at Friars Rd. across from Sea World Dr. Off-duty lifeguard is reporting person. Fire notified. Person pulled from burning motor home. Multiple emergency and medical units respond. Medical transports to rescued patient to hospital.

Sept 21

17:10 - Medical: Sick person in Sanctuary by Emerald Cove. Lifeguards respond and are unable to locate.

Harbor Patrol responded to a south bay marina for a female swimming around the boats and untying them. Harbor Patrol located the female and retrieved her from the water, finding that she was under the influence of narcotics. Prior to charging her with the crime, Harbor Patrol called for paramedics to evaluate her for possible hypothermia.

Sept 20

02:19 - Medical: Caller at the Ladera St. call box, 57 year-old male complaining of shoulder and foot pain. Emergency and medical dispatched. Medical transports to UCSD.

09:36 - Boating: Boat accident/erratic operation at Mission Bay Marina. Ligeguard boat unit responds and supervises information exchange.

12:12 - Medical: Male with broken ribs at the foot of Newport. Medical transports patient to Sharp Memorial.

16:13 - Medical: Lifeguard requests Fire and Medics for an elderly female who slipped and fell on Pier Rock, unconscious with a head injury. Multiple units respond. Medical transports patient to UCSD Trauma Center.

Sept 19

Harbor Patrol towed a vessel from the Harbor Police guest slips due to it staying several hours past check out time and the new guests were waiting. The owner of the towed vessel was aware of the rules and regulations and had been warned several times prior to this incident.

08:33 - Boating: Lifeguards respond to Orchard St. for a report of a person who can’t stay up on their stand up paddle board. Clear upon arrival.

15:15 - Medical: Lifeguards and medical respond to Dana Landing for a 41 year-old female, fall with a head injury. Medical handles.

15:23 - Medical: Lifeguard responds to tower 22 for a 24 year-old male stingray patient. Treat and release.

16:00 - Medical: Lifeguards respond to Riviera Shores for a 50 year-old stingray patient. Patient transported to home.

18:22 - Medical: Lifeguard, emergency, medical and SDPD respond to an 86 year-old man down at Ventura PI. Medical transports patient to UCSD.

18:47 - Enforcement: Lifeguards search for missing 11 year-old female in Mission Beach area. Missing child is reunited with family.

Sept 18

12:25 - Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical respond to a 56 year-old male walk-up complaining of exhaustion and alcohol poisoning. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

09:30 - Other: USCG notifies lifeguards of a distressed whale off Point Loma. Sea World contacted.

15:02 - Medical: Multiple lifeguard units and medical respond to 29 year-old male with knee injury from a PWC accident at Ski Beach. No accident. Reoccurring knee injury. Medical transports patient to Sharp Memorial.

15:56 - Medical: Lifeguards, emergency and medical respond to Neptune PI. for a 77 year-old male with a head injury from a 4’ fall from the cliff. Medical transports patient to Scripps La Jolla.

16:20 - Medical: Lifeguards, emergency and medical respond to Belmont Park for a 17 year-old male, suicide attempt. Guardian on scene refuses assistance.

18:21 - Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical respond to a 28 year-old female aspiration at Ocean Beach station. Patient released under advice to seek further medical attention.

18:34 - Medical: Lifeguards, emergency and medical respond to a 35 year-old male with Crohn’s Disease at Mission Beach station.

M28 transports to Scripps LJ.

21:57 - Medical: Lifeguards, emergency and medical units respond to the model yacht pond for CPR in progress. Patient deceased in car.
