In 2015, his total compensation was $427,086.92, per the Transparency California website. SDSU’s vice president for University Relations and Development Mary Ruth Carleton bagged an additional $25,288 for meeting her objectives. She made a total of $371,939.24 last year. In 2008, she was paid just $225,000.
