Todd Gloria doesn't care about Ocean Beach

The people of Ocean Beach should start a petition to recall Todd Gloria (“Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach – open-air insane asylums?” Neighborhood News, September 2). I guarantee once the petition has been started the rest of the city will climb aboard and you will have enough signatures to recall him without an election. He was a lousy Assemblyman and he is now a lousy mayor. All Todd Gloria thinks about is himself and his own agenda, plus he only worries about where he lives. He doesn’t care about the rest of the city or any of the residences.

An example is, look how he is just ignoring the non-permitted vendors around Ocean Beach, by the pier and the parks and stuff. Notice how he is totally ignoring the homeless problem by just throwing money at it and walking away. Nothing is being done by Mayor Todd Gloria that he has promised to do or that he should do. So I think the people of Ocean Beach should start a petition to recall his butt out of office.

Non-trivial pursuit

Why does The Reader employ a communist (Scott Marks or Marx) to do its movie reviews or anything else? (“The Carpetbaggers part two: Elizabeth Ashley makes her screen debut,” Movies@Home, September 17) This is the guy who makes Ann Frank jokes and trivializes Hitler with asinine comparisons to President Trump. What a fool and a disgrace!
