Short boards easier to manuever

Jonathan Du: “My board is a fish board, a six footer. I prefer short boards over long boards, they are easier to maneuver, more for tricks. Today the surf was good for a short board.

“Once I was surfing in LA and I hit the reef. A part of my skin peeled off and it started bleeding.

“It’s really a pain in the ass for me to put on a wetsuit, because it gets stuck to my body and [once] I was trying to take it off and ripped it. It’s just hard to put on or off so I prefer not to."
