17:24 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to 30-year-old male, overdose at 5000 Newport Av. Medical transports patient to Scripps Mercy.

11:39 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to 729 Devon Ct for 10-month-old male having difficulty breathing. Medical transports patient to Sharp Memorial

13:35 Boating: Lifeguard vessels respond to CHP call at South Shores for overturned PWCs with 2 people struggling in water. Victims clear and H2O rentals handles salvage.

13:07 Other: Lifeguard and San Diego Police respond to top of Black Gold Road in order to let San Diego Police handle a call of “harassment.” Caller moves to Citizen’s Trail and denies help from Police Department.

14:05 Cliff: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to 52-year-old male who tripped and fell off cliff. Patient was caller from prior harassment call (above). Medics rerouted to bottom of Black Gold Rd. Medical transported patient to UCSD.

15:37 Boating: Lifeguards respond to out of service PWC on Pier Rock south of Ocean Beach Pier. Lifeguard vessel tows PWC back to Reception Dock. PWC impounded.

08:00 Boating: Lifeguard vessel responds to sailboat adrift off Mission Point from VHF 16 call. 25-ft. sloop impounded.

08:32 Boating: Lifeguards respond to Coronado Ave for 15-ft. panga on the rocks per 911 call. No victims found, 10 PFDs (lifevests) on the rocks. Border Patrol sends response to investigate and Fire Department advised of smell of gas in the area. US Coast Guard advised of incident.

08:36 Boating: Lifeguard vessel responds to investigate a bait tank adrift in Seaforth Marina fairway and retrieves 55-gallon tank back to LG dock.

11:24 Boating: Call taken on admin line regarding 35-ft. house boat approaching rocks at Zuniga Jetty. Harbor Patrol and Coast Guard advised. Harbor Patrol sends a response, no Lifeguard response needed.

07:20 Other: Lifeguards, San Diego Police units and Medical Examiner respond to VHF report from vessel “GB433” to US Coast Guard of badly decomposed body found floating in water at 32-50.782N x 117-19.898W, 2.8 nautical miles due west of Casa Lifeguard Station. Body confirmed to be that of male who fell from Crystal Pier three weeks ago.

10:30 Boating: Lifeguard vessel responds to Vacation Island to assist green kayaker whose dog fell out in a high hazard area.

10:16 Boating: Vessel on the rocks on North Channel Jetty. 28-ft. Bayliner. Lifeguard and Coast Guard vessels responding to VHF 16 call. Stranded vessel regains power and clears itself.

16:53 Other: Overturned vehicle on west side of Fiesta Island. Lifeguards, emergency and medical units responding. Fire and Police handling.

17:35 Boating vessel dragging anchor 2 miles of Ocean Beach Pier. 37-ft. Sloop. Lifeguard vessel responding. Reports boat is safe anchor deployed awaiting vessel assist.

11:41 Other: Fire hydrant down at La Jolla Cove. Lifeguards, San Diego Police and San Diego Fire respond. Lifeguards secure perimeter and Fire to handle once on scene.

15:32 Boating: Report of PWCs too close to other vessels with skiers in tow. Lifeguard vessel responds and makes appropriate warnings in the area.

09:48 Medical: 21-year-old male with dislocated shoulder from surf accident at South Mission Beach. Lifeguard, medical units respond. Medical transports patient to Scripps Mercy.

10:29 Medical: Traumatic Injuries 70-year-old female on east Mission Bay bike path. Lifeguard and medical units respond. Fire to handle.

16:53 Medical: 26 year-old male, fainting at Dike Rock. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond. Patient advised and released.

Feb 7

09:06 Medical: La Jolla Shores Station request medics for a large laceration to leg of an unknown age male. Lifeguards, medics respond. Patient is transported to Scripps La Jolla.

19:55 Diving: 911 caller at Carmelo St. reports 2 divers possibly in distress. Lifeguard responds to find 1 diver on the beach and clear. Second diver was a float with a light towed by diver mistaken by reporting party.

15:06 Medical: Lifeguard responds to slip and fall at El Paseo Grande. Treat and release.

10:51 Swimmer: 911 caller states a woman is stuck on the reef below the Clam. Lifeguards respond to find the person was able to walk out.

14:03 Boating: VHF caller states his vessel is disabled off Mission Bay Channel. Lifeguard vessel responds to find skipper had contracted with Vessel Assist.
