The Grand Budapest Hotel: Layers upon layers

First, the whimsical, quirky news, or at least the news of the whimsical and quirky: as a run-up to the March 28th release of Wes Anderson's latest, Isle of Dogs, the Digital Gym is running an Anderson Assemblage: Bottle Rocket, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and The Grand Budapest Hotel, starting tonight.

Red Sparrow **

As for the new stuff, you got Jennifer Lawrence as a sexy spy in Red Sparrow, Hedy Lamarr as a brilliant bombshell (herself) in Bombshell, Catherine Keener as a mourning mom in Nostalgia, Bruce Willis as a vengeful vigilante in Death Wish, and Kanietiio Horn as a necromancing Native in Mohawk.

Oh, and the Oscars are Sunday. I'll be in Rancho Santa Fe for a fundraiser, and Scott will be hoping that Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri doesn't win for anything besides acting.
