Brits who mimic Americans

Yet more random, with two possible explanations.

One reason is that maybe they just want to be us more than we want to be them. The better reason is that Americans, even when required to do so in a professional context, struggle to sound like other Americans. Further, some cheeky Brits think that Brits aren’t always so good at talking like other Brits.
