Vocalist Leonard Patton performs in duo with pianist Michael Leroy Peed at the La Valencia Hotel (1132 Prospect Street) from 6 to 10 p.m. No cover charge… Trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos begins a double-shift evening at Panama 66 (1450 El Prado) at 6 p.m. when he hosts the Young Lions Series featuring Eric Wesling on guitar.
