12:15 Cliff: Cliff rescue at Hully Gully, Black’s Beach. 1 victim non-injured; northern area cliff response initiated. Victim evaluated by Lifeguards and released.

15:36 Medical: Sting-ray wound at Black’s beach on a 18 y/o male. LG’s U35, Fire, and Medics respond. U-35 treats and Medic 9 transports patient to UCSD.

12:10 Boating: Sloop with motor issues center channel, lifeguard boat unit on scene. Sloop left to sail into Mission Bay.

13:54 Boating: Vessel on the rocks at Mariners Basin. Lifeguard boat unit on scene and tows off rocks and helps anchor in Mariners Basin.

14:22 Diving: Possible submerged body at Upper Otay Reservoir. Lifeguard dive team and SDPD respond to a call of fisherman who thinks his sonar has spotted a body in 8ft of water. Dive team to act as support of lake rangers tomorrow.

20:48 Swimmer: 911 caller describes a surfer jumping off rocks south of Ocean Beach Pier and getting slammed by waves into rocks, Reporting person loses visual of surfer and calls 911. Surfboard found at water’s edge and surfer found by air unit hiding in the bathroom on the Pier. Lifeguards respond and search area prior to helicopter locating the subject.

10:40 Boating: USCG, Harbor Patrol, and lifeguard boat unit respond to vessel Maggie off Pt. Loma who states 4-5 people in water struggling. SDHP contacts and confirms 5150 on board made fake 911 call.

14:46 Boating: Lifeguards including boat unit respond to Dog Beach, Ocean Beach for PWC in surf. 3 persons on board beach PWC. Lifeguards operate PWC back outside surf and boat unit escorts into Mission Bay.

15:02 Cliff: Lifeguards respond to two people off trail near Goat Trail. Lifeguards confirm both people made it safely back up top.

09:30 Medical: 911 caller reports stingray envenomation at Blacks beach. Lifeguard responds and treats patient with direct pressure and hot water.

11:30 Boating: VHF caller reports a 34’ vessel adrift in Quivira Basin. Lifeguard boat unit responds and provides an emergency tow to “C” dock at Islandia.

13:42 Medical: 911 caller reports a 5150 female, bleeding and distressed entering the water. Rescue III rescues nude subject from water. Lifeguard, SDPD and SDFD respond and transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

14:22 Medical: ECDC informs that an injured person is on the beach somewhere near the Casa. Patient is found at Wipeout with an ankle injury. Patient is transported to Scripps La Jolla.

15:00 Swimmer: 911 caller reports person screaming for help at Windansea. Lifeguard responds and makes 1 water rescue.

19:37 Boating: 911 caller (driving south on I-5) reports seeing what he believes is a boat fire. Lifeguard boat unit responds and nothing is found other than multiple bon fires on Fiesta Island.

12:43 Boating: Vessel in Surf @ Dog beach. R5 responds, vessel corrects course and is clear.

14:10 Medical: Dislocated shoulder @ LJS boat launch. U34/31Sam/M1 on scene. Transported to Kaiser.

13:50 Other: person stuck in marsh at Kendall Frost reserve. Lifeguard boat units respond to Kendall Frost reserve for a 5150 knee deep in mud. SDPD contacted. Lifeguard and SDPD has person in custody.

09:38 Medical: 43-year-old female chest pain at Lifeguard Headquarters. Lifeguard units including staff and medical units on scene. Medical transports patient to Sharp Memorial.

10:22 Enforcement: Boat at Paradise Point dock for 2-3 days. Lifeguard and boat unit respond and post the vessel a warning. Vessel will be checked on Thursday.

16:30 Medical: Fall at 5083 Santa Monica Ave. on a 1-year-old male. Lifeguard, fire and medical units respond. Lifeguards clear scene to let SDFD handle.

11:17 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to Ocean Beach Main Tower for 68-year-old male with lower back pain. Patient transported to Mercy.

22:28 Swimmer: 24S and R5 respond to Bahia Marina for report of person yelling for help in the water. Report is second-hand from Hotel front desk approximately 2hrs after original RP notified security. 24S calls it clear after speaking with security and other witnesses.

12:03 Boating: Caller reports an abandoned SUP on the beach near the Bahia Hotel. Lifeguard boat unit responds and is unable to locate, presumed all clear.
