Vanta ‘s surfing career all started when his kids wanted to learn. “I wanted to be with them.”
“For good surfing I go mostly to Torrey Pines. The waves have a bit more power to them. Here [in PB] I go here just to kinda socialize, surf a little bit, and relax.”
“Sometimes when you underestimate the size of the wave or the strength of the wave, you get overwhelmed. The main thing is to just stay calm and let the waves take you and then get your strength and your breathing back and then slowly come on out. Don’t fight it, you’ll never win.”
